Welcome to Symptoms Leave Clues
If you have been told your labs are normal, your symptoms are part of aging, or you simply need more discipline, I hear you, and you are not alone.
This five-part welcome series was created for the woman who knows something has changed, but has struggled to find clear answers. You may feel tired, foggy, disconnected from your body, frustrated with your weight, or unsure why the plans that once worked no longer do. You may have asked for help and left feeling dismissed, rushed, or blamed.
These episodes will help you begin looking at your health differently.
You will learn why your symptoms matter, why “normal” does not always mean optimal, why the problem was never a lack of willpower, and how to begin rebuilding trust in your body and your own inner authority.
This is not about chasing another quick fix or adding more pressure to your life. It is about understanding what your body has been trying to tell you, asking better questions, and taking your next steps with more clarity and confidence.
How to Begin
Start with Episode One and move through the series in order. Each episode builds on the one before it and guides you from confusion and self-blame toward understanding, hope, and a clearer path forward.
You can listen to the podcast, read the accompanying article, or do both. Choose the format that works best for you.
Give yourself time to take in each episode. You do not need to solve everything at once. Notice what feels familiar, what gives language to something you have experienced, and what questions begin to surface.
Most of all, come into this series with curiosity instead of criticism.
You are not here because you failed.
You are here because your body has been leaving clues, and you are ready to start listening.
You Weren’t Imagining It
Episode 1: Your Body Filed for Divorce Without Telling You
This episode introduces the heart of Symptoms Leave Clues. You will hear why this work is personal to me, why your symptoms deserve to be taken seriously, and why one-size-fits-all plans so often leave women blaming themselves.
Episode 2: You Are Not the Body in the Bed
This episode explores what happens when a woman’s symptoms are reduced to a chart, a number, or a rushed appointment. You will hear why feeling dismissed changes the way you see yourself, and why your lived experience belongs in the conversation.
You are more than a symptom list, and you deserve care that sees the whole woman.
02. You Are Not the Body in the Bed
Years ago, before I knew much of anything, I stood at the foot of a hospital bed and watched a woman disappear while she was still in the room.
Episode 3: You Have Willpower for Days. That’s Exactly Why You’re So Tired.
This episode explains why more discipline is not the answer, how rigid plans drain your energy, and what changes when you stop forcing yourself into someone else’s formula.
The right plan should support your body, not make you fight against it.
03. You Have Willpower for Days. That's Exactly Why You're So Tired.
Let’s start with something you’ve forgotten about yourself.
Episode 4: Stop Letting Normal Be the End of the Sentence
This episode explains why “normal” should never end the conversation, why testing matters, and why numbers only become useful when they are connected to your symptoms, history, and real life.
Your body is not being dramatic. It is giving you information.
04. Stop Letting Normal Be the End of the Sentence
I want to tell you about a woman whose bloodwork came back beautifully normal while her body was quietly being damaged underneath it, because her story is the cleanest example I have ever come across of the exact thing that is happening to you, and once you can see it in her, you will not be able to unsee it in yourself.
Episode 5: The Woman You Thought You Lost Is Still Here
This episode looks beyond the symptoms to the life they have been taking from you, and what begins to return when your body gets the support it needs.
You are not becoming someone new. You are reclaiming your energy, your confidence, your voice, and your place in your own life.
The life you have been too tired to imagine is waiting for you.
05. The Woman You Thought You Lost Is Still Here
Before we talk about the woman you are becoming, I think we need to be honest about what your symptoms have been costing you.
